Meet our speakers

Jeff Golby, Founder of WellFunded.io

Jeff Golby

Founder, WellFunded.io

Jeff has sat on every side of the philanthropy table. He was part of the founding team at Charitable Impact, Canada's first online DAF, helping scale it from $3M to $115M in assets. He's advised Canada's wealthiest families on complex charitable gifts, led a peer-to-peer fundraising technology startup, and spent a decade as CEO of Acts for Water, one of Canada's oldest clean water charities. These experiences gave him firsthand insight into the infrastructure gap between generous donors and the charities doing the work, and the conviction that technology could close it.

Mike Todd, Founder of Transform Philanthropy

Mike Todd

Founder, Transform Philanthropy

With 12 years in wealth management followed by deep specialization in philanthropy strategy, Mike Todd brings a rare cross-sector perspective to donor-advised funds, family philanthropy, and institutional giving systems.

His work sits at the intersection of advisor behavior, sponsor design, charity positioning, governance, and capital infrastructure.

Transform Philanthropy was built to help institutions operate more effectively in the increasingly intermediated environment where philanthropic decisions are now shaped.

Tim Brandl

Product Marketing Director, raisin

For more than ten years, Tim has supported charities and nonprofits launch successful online fundraising campaigns with raisin Software. His interest in social good began as undergraduate and graduate student, studying Political Science at Western and Wilfrid Laurier University respectively.
